Mobile Mapper 6 vs Juno SC resultsposted on Tuesday, April 14, 2009 9:59 AM The post processing solution from Magellan's MobileMapper 6 uses the same GPS chipset as the Juno SC. In this whitepaper Magellan compares the post processed results from both units. Magellan's tests showed a significant difference in the results, even though both units used the same chip sets.  At the recent dealer meeting, Joe Sass, the Magellan Tech Support chief, stated that he was confident that the Mobile Mapper 6 can achieve half meter accuracy with post processing. This is all for a third to half the cost of other solutions on the market. The MobileMapper 6 is also ruggedized and water-PROOF. Yes, you can submerge it for a few seconds.
